POINT PLEASANT ELKS ANNUAL $12,000 FLUKE TOURNAMENT

Point Pleasant Elks Lodge is sponsoring its fourteenth Annual Fluke Tournament on Saturday, July 26th..  This is considered to be a family oriented tournament and we encourage the entire family to get involved for a fun day of fishing and a wonderful picnic.  Over the past 13 years, this tournament has received outstanding recognition from anglers throughout the Tri-State area being called the #1 single port Fluke Tournament in the State of New Jersey. Laughing

This year John Veprek will once again  be chairing the event, and he and his committee have been hard at work since January hoping to make this year’s event the biggest and best ever.  Entries have been coming in at a record pace, and the committee hopes to have another successful Tournament followed by a fun-filled Awards Picnic on the Lodge grounds for the anglers and their families.

This year, for the first time, a Kayak Fishing Division has been added to the tournament.  Al Stillman from East Coast Kayak Fishing will be advising the Kayak Division.  This Division will be limited to 100 Kayak's and will have separate prizes.  The prizes for this division will be product plus cash, with $2,000 in cash going to the top three winners of the largest fluke by size. First place winner will receive $1,000 plus a Hobie Kayak. The entry fee is $65.00 per kayak which will also include two tickets to the awards picnic.
